DR NILFORD HOVE (Dip Ed, B Ed, M Ed, PhD) is an independent researcher with more than 30 years of experience teaching in both special and mainstream schools at primary and secondary school levels. He has taught in several schools in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Currently, Nilford is the principal of Isiqalo Primary School in the Vaal Triangle of South Africa. He obtained his Diploma in Education at Morgenster Teachers College, (an associate College of the University of Zimbabwe, and later on, his Bachelor of Education degree at Masvingo State University. He attained both his Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of South Africa. To this date, Nilford has published 8 articles in inclusive education in DHET-accredited journals. His areas of research interest include Effective Classroom pedagogic practices, Education planning, Management and leadership in Education, as well as Curriculum adaptations in light of learner diversity in the classrooms. Dr Hove has published a number articles in the field of inclusive education. Before his appointment as a principal at Isiqalo, Nilford has been holding senior positions in several schools in both Zimbabwe and South Africa where he has been executing his duties with due diligence. He is also currently working as an independent contractor with the University of South Africa since 2013 and is currently working on enrolling for his second PhD in Psychology with the North-West University.
